The noun 83 2.3.3.2 Neuter nouns: soft stems The following endings are with one exception merely the soft variants of the forms seen above in the hard stems; the exception is the G.pl., in which there are two possibilities: N./V. G. D. A. I. L. Singular -e -я -Ю -e -ЄМ "' Plural -Я -IB, -0 -ЯМ -Я -ями -ях Н./Кл. p. д. 3. 0. M. STRESS SE N./V. G. D. A. I. L. STRESS SE N./V. G. D. A. I. L. : море 'sea' Singular море моря морю море морем морі Однина Plural моря морів морям моря морями морях Множина Н./Кл. Р. д. 3. О. М. : поле 'field' (a very similar paradigm to море 'see Singular поле поля полю поле полем полі Однина Plural поля Множина полів/піль полям поля полями полях Н./Кл. Р. д. 3. 0. м. The one form to note here is again the G.pl.: two possible forms are used, one with the expected ending, and the zero ending which calls for the internal vowel alternation o-i.
