The numeral 199 Чотири п'ятих поділити на одну сьому. Divide four fifths by one seventh (imperfective поділяти). Сім десятих помножити на три дев'ятих. Multiply seven tenths by three ninths (imperfective множити). The numerals пів 'half, півтора (m./n.) and півтори (f.) 'one-and-a-half, and півтораста '150' are indeclinable. They all totally agree with the counted noun phrase when the dative, instrumental, and locative are required. For the nominative, accusative, and genitive, пів and півтора/півтори are followed by the genitive singular, while півтораста is followed by the genitive plural. Animacy is unlikely to affect пів and півтора/півтори, and for півтораста the accusative and genitive formally coincide. Thus, for example: півтора/півтори, півтораста N.A. півтора слова півтори книжки півтораста столів Н.З. G. півтора слова півтори книжки півтораста столів Р. D. півтора словам півтори книжкам півтораста столам Д. І. півтора словами півтори книжками півтораста столами О. L. у півтора словах у півтори книжках на півтораста столах М. One must note the fractional nouns чверть (f.) 'quarter' and половина 'half, 'middle', the adverb навпіл 'in half. In the following examples note how one says 'and a half, and a quarter', these components never changing. For example: Вона дала мені чверть книжок.
