The noun 81 in our tables (V. = N.); apart from the place of stress in many neuters, the N./?/. will look like the G.sg. (the latter phenomenon is well-known among feminine nouns as well): N. G. D. A. I. L. Singular -0 -a -y -0 -OM -i Plural -a -0 -ам -a -ами (-ьми) -ax H. P. Д. 3. O. M. STRESS SE: МІСТО 'CITY ' N./V. G. D. A. I. L. Singular місто міста місту місто містом місті Однина Plural - Множина міста міст містам міста містами містах Н./Кл. Р. д. 3. о. м. STRESS ES: ВІКНО 'WINDOW' N./V. G. D. A. I. L. Singular вікно вікна вікну вікно вікном вікні - Однина Plural - Множина вікна вікон вікнам вікна вікнами вікнах Н./Кл. Р. д. 3. о. м. In this particular form, note the fleeting vowel that appears in the G.pl. (i.e. in the presence of a zero-ending: вікн- > вікон-). The following paradigm is morphologically in agreement with the other examples seen to this point, but note the vowel alternation e-i in the G.pl.: N./V. G. D. A. I. L.
