The verb 267 prefixes + -ся can impart additional semantic nuances; in particular, this primarily involves the prefixes на-, до-, and за-. Note that not all of the resulting verbs are strictly intransitive, even though they are marked by the presence of -ся (for example, добудитися below); these verbs can be of either aspect, but only one member of each aspectual pair is given below as an example. на-ся action to the point of saturation нагулятися have a long walk (sometimes too long) наїжджатися have enough of driving/riding наїдатися eat one's fill напитися drink one's fill, drink too much наговоритися talk to satiety, be talked out намахатися do much hard work, shake (something) to the point of weariness набігатися tire oneself out by running до-ся action achieved requiring great effort; action carried out until a result is achieved (where not strictly transitive, with the preposition до) ring the bell until one answers, (negative) ring in vain playing until..., with emphasis on the process call until one is answered (perseverance of the action is emphasized here) succeed in waking one up (neg.)
