Once you're here, we'll have a chat. коли 'when' Щоранку він прокидається, коли син повертає з ресторану. Every morning he wakes up when his son returns from the restaurant. відколи 'since' Відколи світ, такого не чувано. Nothing of the kind has ever been heard, (lit. 'Since the world, such has not been heard.') поки 'while', 'as long as' Поки вони працювали в офісі, Олекса сидів у кафе. While they were working in the office, Oleksa was sitting in the cafe. поки ... не, доки ... не 'until' Я буду стояти тут, поки Ви не вирішите. I'll stand here till you decide. (Note the non-past perfective, usual with поки ... не.) |
